Thanks to its versatility, the Cessna Caravan offers a wide range of end users.

January 9, 2022

Thanks to its versatility, the Cessna Caravan offers a wide range of end users. Designed with high durability, it can withstand the harsh conditions of the African bush, but thanks to the executive interior, it will also provide comfort for regional managers on business trips. The strong and powerful turboprop engine meets the requirements for the aircraft, which is able to carry a high payload from short unpaved surfaces while maintaining simplicity and economical operation. The Cessna Caravan platform has seen more than 2,900 aircraft delivered that are certified in 100 countries with nearly 24 million flight hours amassed worldwide since the aircraft was introduced.

In July 2021, Textron Aviation and Surf Air Mobility announced a new partnership with aim to develop electrified Cessna Grand Caravan aircraft, with Hybrid-electric versions of the plane to be available in 2024.
