2021 - A year of record demand for private jet flights

3.3 million flights worldwide in 2021 means a record year for business aviation.

Amid the pandemic, a large number of passengers began to prefer flights with private jets, mainly for privacy, health protection, safety and comfort. As a result, the private aviation industry has risen to new heights.

In the last four weeks of 2021, the number of private jet flights worldwide was 21% higher than in the same period in 2019. Despite pandemic measures due to the proliferation of the Omicron variant, private flights in Europe saw 28% increase in the last week of 2021 compared to 2019. 14% increase in the last month of last year. The year 2021 was a record year in the number of private jet flights, with total of 3.3 million flights worldwide which means 7% increase over 2019.
